Day 141 - July 28, 2016

Continued wiring car.

Day 142 - July 30, 2016

Continued wiring car. Worked on throttle linkage. Started car at 7:23PM. 17 days after LS failure.

Day 143 - July 31, 2016

Continued wiring car. Finished throttle linkage.

Day 144 - August 1, 2016

Began mounting hood.

Day 145 - August 2, 2016

Finished mounting hood.

Day 146 - August 4, 2016

Mounted nitrous bottle. Began wiring nitrous solenoids. Adapted parachute. Installed parachute pull cord.

Day 147 - August 6, 2016

Made parachute pull chord mount. Installed nitrous line.

Day 148 - August 7, 2016

Went drag racing. Got two runs in. Determined that something was wrong. Went home. Did a leak down test, compression test, and coolant pressure test. Determined that piston number 4 was hurt. We do not have enough time to fix this problem, and therefore this car will not be making the $2016 challenge. It will be there for 2017.

Day 149 - May 12, 2017

Tore engine down to be inspected. Found that valves were hitting the pistons. Clearanced pistons with the belt sander.

Day 150 - May 18, 2017

Reassembled engine.
