Day 111 - September 4, 2015

Continued tearing apart replacement engine. Soaked engine parts to be cleaned.

Day 112 - September 5, 2015

Widened ring gaps and began reassembled engine.

Day 113 - September 6, 2015

Began to access the damage on engine in the car. Finished reassembling replacement engine. Removed old engine, and installed replacement engine in the car.  

Day 114 - September 7, 2015

Finished reinstalling engine. Prepped for start up. Started car. It sounded great. After idling for about 3 minutes it made a weird sound and stalled. Tried to restart it, but it would not start. Removed oil pan. Found that timing chain was broken. Most likely there is a bent valve, and we must remove the engine to fully diagnose our situation. We decided to go to plan B.  

Day 115 - May 26, 2016

Assembled and installed 6.0L engine.

Day 116 - June 26, 2016

Began making new door hinges for weight reduction, and to make the door easily removable.

Day 117 - June 27, 2016

Cleaned up and primed door hinges. Shaved drip rail on drivers side.

Day 118 - June 29, 2016

Continued lightening doors.

Day 119 - July 2, 2016

Finished making flushed window mounts for driver's side. Made door hinges for passenger's side. Removed Drip rails from passenger's side, and began made flushed window mounts. Assembled car to be scaled. Continued lightening car.

Day 120 - July 3, 2016

Finished making flushed window mounts. Deleted gas fill door. Weighed car. It weighed 2640lbs with driver.
